This workshop focuses on creating botanical inspired monoprints on fabric using gel plates. You’ll explore a variety of techniques using plant and other materials as masks and stencils to create richly textured, organic prints. By the end of the session, you’ll have a selection of unique fabric prints, along with some paper tests and ghost prints to enjoy as finished pieces or develop into future creative projects.
Please Note: Some botanicals will be provided; however, feel free to bring your own. Please keep stems in water until use and wrap them in damp kitchen towel (or a suitable alternative) when transporting them to the workshop.
